For the Mount Holly sites we build: hosting, security, monitoring and everyday edits, all under one monthly charge.
A single monthly fee, sized to your build and set in your written quote, keeps the site fast, secure and up to date without you lifting a finger.
What the fee covers
- Fast hosting served from data centers worldwide, so a page loads in a blink whether the visitor is in Mount Holly or out of state.
- An SSL certificate that keeps the lock icon showing and renews automatically.
- Round-the-clock uptime checks, so we hear about an outage first.
- Routine edits to text, pictures, prices and hours. Send them whenever.
- Periodic test submissions of your quote form, to be sure leads still come through.
Fewer parts, fewer surprises
Most small-business sites are assembled from a theme plus a pile of add-ons written by different people and changed whenever their makers feel like it. Sooner or later two pieces clash and something breaks. Our hand-coded websites are plain files: no database to break into and no admin login to guess, so there's hardly anything to fail.
Sending an edit
A text or email to Roger does it. A new service, a holiday closure, a picture from Tuesday's job are all part of the plan. If a request turns into a whole new page, you'll get the price before anything is built.
Ownership doesn't change
Paying us for hosting doesn't make the site ours. Domain, words and code belong to you, and if you ever want to move on, you get the full set of files. There's more on our approach on the about page.
Care plan questions
What counts as a small edit?
Day-to-day updates: changed hours, a new price, a swapped picture, a new hire or a departure, a holiday notice. Bigger jobs such as an added page are priced up front.
And if the site stops loading?
Monitoring flags it and we fix it. Plain hand-written pages have hardly any moving parts, so outages are uncommon.
Can I move a site someone else built onto your hosting?
Generally no, because the plans are built around our own code. If you're on a site builder, Roger will talk through whether patching it or starting fresh makes more sense.
